Dear Director-General Koichiro Matsuura:

Re: UNESCO suspends Chandrika

I have read a news about Sri Lankan former president Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga on The Sunday Times titled: UNESCO suspends Chandrika . Even though this is very late in realizing, it is most welcomed.

She has committed most atrocities against the Sri Lankan ethnic Tamils in the Tamils’ freedom struggle. As I was personally affected by her regime, I would sincerely uphold your decision to suspend her from a prominent position. I strongly believe these State Terrorists should not be given high positions as this would lead future dictators with a handy escape.

My family and myself would strongly like to see her permanently removed from any positions in UNESCO. I have posted this letter in my blog at http://1letter.wordpress.com/2006/12/19/unesco-suspends-chandrika-bandaranaike-kumaratunga/
