Jayalalithaa transferred money to Sasikala in form of gifts, Karnataka tells SC

Special Public Prosecutor for Karnataka made a passionate appeal in the Supreme Court to uphold the verdict of the trial court which had convicted Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa and three others in the disproportionate assets case.

A Bench comprising Justices P C Ghose and Amitava Roy are hearing appeals filed by Karnataka challenging the acquittal of Jayalalithaa and three others. They were acquitted by the Karnataka High Court.

Acharya who is filing his rejoinder in the case after Jayalalithaa and three others concluded arguments made several remarks about Sasikala Natrajan.
