The Committee On Public Enterprises (COPE) headed by Parliamentarian Sunil Handunneththi that met in Parliament yesterday decided to temporarily keep the Minister of Sports Dayasiri Jayasekera away from its sessions.

Minister Dayasiri Jayasekera had left the session when Deputy Minister Harsha de Silva stated that his presence was not appropriate in the sessions that discuss frauds and irregularities that have been committed in Sri Lanka Cricket.

COPE members also decided to prevent participation of Minister of Ports Arjuna Ranatunga in the sessions.
