PETALING JAYA: DAP MP M Kulasegaran has thrown light over the headgear he wore during the swearing-in ceremony as human resources minister at the Istana Negara today.

He said the Tamil headgear is called “thallapa”.

“The last time I wore it was during my wedding. It is part of Tamil culture,” Kula told FMT.
